The Foundation
The South Shore Charter Educational Foundation was created to accept donations to support the wonderful work of South Shore Charter Public School.
It is a non-profit organization with a 501c3 standing from the Internal Revenue Service. Annually the Foundation gives money to the school for major construction/renovation projects and to support annual budget demands.
The Board of Trustees is a self- perpetuating board that comprises primarily former trustees of the school.
President: Prudence Goodale, current SSCPS Interim Executive Director
Vice President: Kathy Arthur Tyler, former school trustee and alumni parent
Secretary: Steve Gilman, alum '01 and former school trustee
Treasurer: Eric Greene, former school trustee and current school parent
